Okay I'm a few days behind in my posts, but I look at it this way at least it gets on there, right?Ryan likes mowing the lawn on Fridays and Saturdays. Friday nights after the sun has gone behind the house and it won't be so hot and Saturday mornings for the same reason. Well the kids have decided that Dad is not the only one to have any fun, because "Mowing the Lawn is a Privilege not an Punishment" - Hank Hill.
Since we have a self propelled mower Ryan has been letting each of the kids take turns "helping" him with his mowing. They fight over who gets to help first and then Ethan gets his little toy mower out and follows his Dad in the attempt at getting the places that, "Dad missed".
I hope this attitude will stay around through their teenage years. Wishful thinking right?

Your right it is wishful thinking, once they get bigger, there will be much more important things, ( girls & boys) It won't be long.

poor Ethan, did he cry or freak out? the scratches look horrible esp by his eye! my girls arms look like scratching posts right now, i take kitty in thurs for a pedicure/manicure (filing down). is it really worth it to have a cat?? i can't decide.
Wow....i've never seen Ryan push a mower. Good job! Yoru lawn does look good!
anna and mikey love to mow the lawn too. and the little toy mower behind...looks all too familiar!
