Well yesterday morning we woke up to see peacocks, yes peacocks in our back lawn. There were four of them. The kids and the cats loved watching them and we even got a picture.
Holly then decided that the peacocks needed a "ug", or a hug and ran after them, well peacocks took off as fast as they could. We then had to take the next 10 minutes trying to console Holly. It was a lot of fun trying to explain to a two year old that the "birdies don't like hugs".
We figure that the peacocks came from the ranch that is located behind our condo development and they just decided to take an Sunday morning walk some place other than with the horses.
It was a nice Sunday Surprise to share with the kids. Just thought I'd share.
